The Death By Audio Space Bender is an experimental chorus and modulation pedal designed for players who want to push beyond conventional modulation effects. Its dynamically modulated delay lines create everything from subtle vintage sci-fi chorus and flange tones to warped delays, pulsing textures and extreme sonic oscillations.
The SPEED and DEPTH controls form the heart of the Space Bender, simultaneously shaping the modulation and delay characteristics. Combined with the DELAY TIME and MODULATOR controls, they provide a remarkably wide range of sounds, allowing you to move from short, glassy chorus and flanging effects into longer, heavily modulated delay textures.
The MODULATOR switch lets you choose between an LFO sine-wave oscillator and an envelope-based modulation source. INTENSITY controls the overall effect depth and can push the pedal into oscillation, feedback and more extreme noise-based textures. An internal GAIN control provides additional output level adjustment and can be accessed by removing the backplate.
