The Medeli UP82 is an enhanced entry-level digital piano that combines an authentic acoustic-style playing experience with an elegant cabinet design and upgraded sound performance. Building on the UP81, the UP82 features a refined appearance and a more powerful amplifier system, making it a great choice for players looking for a capable digital piano for home use.
At the heart of the UP82 is an 88-key Graded Action Standard II (GAS-II) keyboard, designed to replicate the graded weighting of an acoustic piano. The keys are heavier in the bass and progressively lighter towards the treble, while the improved hammer action provides a comfortable and natural playing response. Matte black key surfaces reduce light reflection and help with long-term maintenance.
The upgraded amplifier delivers 2 x 25W of power, providing a richer and more resonant sound through the built-in stereo speaker system. With 20 sounds, 64-note polyphony, four reverb types and useful functions including layering, split and Twinova Duo mode, the UP82 offers plenty of flexibility for practice and performance.
The UP82 also features a realistic three-pedal unit with sustain, soft and sostenuto pedals. USB-B connectivity supports both MIDI and audio, allowing the piano to connect directly to computers and compatible mobile devices for recording and music creation.
