Fulltone OCD V2 Overdrive Pedal

The Fulltone OCD V2 is a highly responsive overdrive pedal known for its touch-sensitive feel, dynamic response and natural amp-like character. Building on the original OCD design, this updated version introduces several refinements that improve its interaction with different guitars, effects chains and pedalboards.

The OCD's distinctive sound comes from its MOSFET clipping circuit, which delivers a dynamic response that reacts naturally to your playing. Whether you're picking softly or digging in, the OCD responds accordingly, making it equally effective for subtle overdrive, classic crunch and more aggressive tones.

The V2 features a Class A 2N5457 JFET input section, increasing the input impedance to 1MΩ and improving the pedal's dynamics and interaction with both single-coil and humbucking pickups. An output buffer also helps maintain a consistent signal when the pedal is used alongside complex pedalboards, loopers and longer signal chains, while contributing to increased sustain and harmonic response.

An internal switch allows you to choose between Fulltone's Enhanced Bypass and traditional True Bypass modes. Enhanced Bypass uses Class A configured switching FETs to preserve dynamics and minimise the signal degradation associated with long cables and multiple pedals.
