Yamaha BB234 Electric 4-String Bass Guitar, Raspberry Red

The Yamaha BB234 brings the renowned BB Series bass design to an accessible entry-level instrument, combining dependable construction, versatile tones and comfortable playability. Finished in striking Raspberry Red, it features a solid alder body, a smooth satin-finished maple neck and a rosewood fingerboard, making it an excellent choice for beginners and experienced players alike.

A pair of Yamaha YGD V3 ceramic P/J pickups delivers a clean, well-defined sound with plenty of versatility for different musical styles. Separate volume controls for the neck and bridge pickups allow you to blend their outputs, while the master tone control provides further sound shaping. The slightly thinner neck profile improves comfort and playability, and the lightweight open-gear tuners help maintain a balanced feel.

A vintage-style bridge, 21 medium frets and a 34-inch scale length complete a practical, reliable bass designed for practice, rehearsal and performance.
