The Big Muff Pi 2 Dual Op-Amp Fuzz revives a previously undiscovered late-’70s circuit design from Electro-Harmonix founder Mike Matthews and legendary inventor Bob Myer. Rediscovered decades later and brought back to life, this unique Big Muff delivers a fresh take on the classic fuzz sound while staying true to the legendary Muff legacy.
Expect singing sustain, huge gain, booming low end and a crisp top-end response, with slightly more dynamic and raw clipping for a distinctive fuzz character. Housed in a compact nano chassis with artwork by Daniel Danger, the Big Muff Pi 2 combines vintage inspiration with modern flexibility, including silent true bypass switching with both latching and momentary operation for expressive bursts of fuzz.
