Fender 75th Anniversary American Vintage II 1951 Nocaster

Introducing the 75th Anniversary Telecaster® Collection celebrating 75 years of one of the most influential electric guitars ever created. The 75th Anniversary American Vintage II 1951 Nocaster honours a pivotal moment in Fender history, recreating one of the most sought-after instruments ever produced with remarkable attention to vintage accuracy and detail.

In 1951, between the end of the Broadcaster® name and the arrival of the Telecaster® logo, Fender shipped guitars with no model name on the headstock. These rare instruments became known as the Nocaster, and their place in guitar history has become legendary. Seventy-five years later, Fender pays tribute with a meticulously crafted recreation that captures the look, feel and tone of the original.

The ash body is finished in Nocaster Blonde and treated with Fender's exclusive Heirloom Lacquer process, an aged nitrocellulose finish designed to replicate the appearance and feel of a well-loved vintage instrument. The substantial 1951 "U"-shaped hard rock maple neck offers an authentic early-Fender playing experience, paired with a 7.25" radius fingerboard and vintage tall frets.

Faithful to original Nocaster specifications, details include the narrow 12th-fret dot spacing, vintage-style hardware, triple brass saddle bridge and single-line Fender Deluxe tuners. Under the hood, specially voiced 75th Anniversary Blackguard Telecaster® pickups deliver the raw, dynamic twang, warmth and articulation that defined the earliest Fender electric guitars.

Built for players and collectors alike, the 75th Anniversary American Vintage II 1951 Nocaster stands as a fitting tribute to the guitar that had no name yet changed music forever.

Built for Players and Collectors

An exceptional combination of historical accuracy, premium craftsmanship and legendary Fender tone, commemorating 75 years of Telecaster heritage.

GLOSS NITROCELLULOSE LACQUER FINISH

Nitrocellulose lacquer, as used on 50s and 60s Fender instruments, is a premium finish that reveals the instruments true tonal character.

ASH BODY

Ash is a warm-toned wood with clear, bright highs, defined midrange, focused lows, and a beautiful grain pattern.

7.25 RADIUS MAPLE FINGERBOARD

The 7.25-radius fingerboard provides the comfortable playing feel of a vintage instrument, while vintage-tall frets make it easier to bend notes without fretting out.

1951 U-SHAPE NECK

In vintage years, the shape and thickness of Fender guitar necks varied tremendously. The American Vintage II Series offers a variety of authentic neck profiles from Fenders past.

75TH ANNIVERSARY BLACKGUARD TELECASTER® PICKUPS

Specially voiced to capture the raw, twangy tone of Fender's earliest Telecaster® designs, the 75th Anniversary Blackguard pickups honour seven decades of electric guitar history. Wound to period-correct specifications, these pickups deliver the punchy bite and glassy clarity that defined the original Blackguard era. Materials include hand-bevelled alnico magnets, single-layer fibre flatwork, and vintage-style enamel-coated wire.

VINTAGE-STYLE HARDWARE

From the bridge to the string tree and tuning machines, every piece of American Vintage II hardware is manufactured to look, sound and function just like it did on the originals. Much of the American Vintage II hardware is still manufactured on the original 50s and 60s era Fender factory machines.
