Kala Voyage Collection – Unity
In collaboration with Mori cultural artist Sam Mangakahia, Kala presents The Voyage Collection: three unique designs inspired by shared human experiences : Unity, Courage, and Guidance. Sam has been telling stories through his art for over 13 years, creating more than 450 custom works, each carrying its own meaning.
The Unity design celebrates connection and togetherness. Intertwining hibiscus flowers with fern leaves (koru) ; a significant Mori symbol representing growth, harmony, and the bonds between loved ones—this artwork is a reminder to extend grace to yourself and others. By nurturing trust and kindness, you foster unity in your relationships and community.
Laser-etched onto a mahogany body and finished in satin, this ukulele combines meaningful artistry with Kala’s signature craftsmanship. Each instrument comes with a personalised Voyage Collection gig bag and a story card hang tag, sharing the inspiration behind the design.
