Developed in collaboration with La Bella, the Kala Solid Body U•BASS® Flat Wound Strings deliver the feel and tone of a classic electric bass in a compact U•BASS® form. Featuring a steel core wrapped in stainless-steel flat wire, these strings produce a smooth, balanced tone with a rich, powerful low end reminiscent of vintage P-Bass warmth. The flat-wound construction provides a silky feel under the fingers, offering effortless playability and a refined, “old school” sound that’s equally at home on stage or in the studio.
