Rathbone Acoustic Guitars
A good acoustic guitar should inspire you to pick it up and play. Rathbone guitars are designed with this in mind, combining comfortable playability with carefully considered tonewood combinations to produce a rewarding acoustic sound.
Depending on the model, Rathbone guitars are available with tonewoods including Solid Cedar, Ebony, Mahogany and Rosewood, each bringing its own tonal characteristics to the instrument.
Cedar-topped models are particularly appealing to players looking for a warm, responsive and expressive acoustic sound, while Ebony back and sides can add clarity, projection and a distinctive visual character.
A Choice of Acoustic Guitar Body Shapes
Rathbone offers different body shapes to suit different approaches to playing.
The Grand-Auditorium design provides a versatile balance between comfort and projection, with a larger body cavity producing a fuller low-end response while retaining clarity across the guitar's tonal range.
Its comfortable waist makes the Grand-Auditorium a practical choice for both seated and standing players, while the increased body volume provides plenty of projection for strumming, fingerstyle and accompaniment.
Rathbone Electro Acoustic Guitars
If you want to take your acoustic guitar onto the stage, a Rathbone electro acoustic guitar provides the added flexibility of onboard amplification.
Selected Rathbone models feature integrated pickup systems with EQ controls and built-in tuners, allowing you to connect directly to an acoustic amplifier, PA system or other compatible equipment.
The onboard EQ gives you control over the character of your amplified sound, while the built-in tuner makes it quick and convenient to keep your guitar in tune before and during a performance.
Designed for Today's Guitarists
Rathbone guitars are equally at home in the bedroom, rehearsal room, studio or on stage. Their combination of traditional acoustic guitar construction and modern practical features makes them suitable for a wide variety of playing situations.
Whether you're learning your first chords, writing songs, accompanying a vocalist or performing live, Rathbone offers guitars designed to grow with your playing.
