The Yamaha TAG3 C is the next evolution in TransAcoustic guitar technology. Blending tradition with modern creativity, it brings together the full experience of listening, playing and writing into one inspiring instrument. With onboard effects including reverb, delay, chorus, a built-in looper, and Bluetooth playback, the TAG3 C puts creativity right at your fingertips – no amp, cables or pedals needed.
Who is it for?
The TAG3 C is ideal for acoustic players who want to explore new creative territory using modern tools. Whether you're songwriting, rehearsing, performing or recording, this guitar is a simple yet incredibly powerful companion for any musical journey.
Key Features
Built-in Effects
Two internal actuators respond to string vibrations and transmit sound through the guitar body and surrounding air, delivering authentic reverb, chorus and delay straight from the guitar itself – no external gear required.
Built-in Looper
Record and layer your own sounds with the built-in looper. From backing tracks to rhythm tapping, the looper opens up a world of possibilities, helping you develop ideas or build full arrangements on the fly.
Bluetooth® Connectivity
Stream your favourite songs or backing tracks directly through the guitar using Bluetooth. The audio plays through the actuators inside the body, creating an immersive, natural-sounding playback experience – perfect for practice or performance.
Rechargeable Battery
Enjoy up to 5.5 hours of playtime with the built-in rechargeable lithium-ion battery. The magnetic charging connection makes recharging easy and hassle-free.
Intuitive Controls
Four discreet buttons control the effects, looper, and Bluetooth pairing. A volume dial located inside the soundhole adjusts the line-out level. The compact controls preserve the guitar’s acoustic tone by minimising body wood removal.
Mobile Editor App
The "TAG Remote" app (iOS/Android) gives you deeper control over your sound. Adjust effect parameters, manage loops, and customise your setup directly from your smartphone.
Premium All-Solid Construction
Even without effects, the TAG3 C delivers a warm, rich tone. The solid Sitka spruce top provides strong projection with a balanced midrange and low-end. Solid mahogany back and sides contribute to a mellow, woody character with a strong midrange presence.
