Fender The Bends Compressor V2
The Fender® The Bends Compressor V2 is a highly versatile analogue compressor and boost pedal designed to deliver smooth, natural dynamic control for both guitar and bass. Built around an advanced OTA-based compression circuit, it responds organically to your playing, evening out volume differences while enhancing sustain, clarity and note definition without sacrificing feel.
Simple yet powerful controls make dialling in the perfect sound easy. A three-position Attack switch, Release control and Input control let you tailor the pedal's response, while an active Tone control restores or enhances high-end detail. The Blend control allows you to mix your unaffected signal back in, preserving your playing dynamics while adding the ideal amount of compression.
A rear-panel Vintage switch transforms the pedal's character, changing it from clean, modern compression to a warmer, tube-inspired response with subtle natural saturation. An independent ultra-clean boost can be placed either before or after the compressor using the Comp Pre/Post switch. Positioning the boost before compression creates smooth, sustained lead tones, while placing it afterwards delivers a transparent volume lift for solos without altering your core sound.
Loaded with professional features including switchable true or buffered bypass, relay-based auto bypass, multiswitch footswitch operation and visual compression indication, The Bends Compressor V2 is equally at home on stage, in the studio or as the foundation of any pedalboard.
