The Fender American Ultra II Precision Bass features a select alder body with sculpted Ultra contours and a tapered neck heel for effortless access to the upper register. A roasted maple neck with a Modern D profile, graphite reinforcement and smooth Ultra Satin finish offers outstanding stability and comfort. The 1014 compound-radius fingerboard is fitted with Ultra rolled edges, medium-jumbo frets, Luminlay side dots and a Graph Tech TUSQ nut, while convenient truss rod access at the headstock allows for quick and easy adjustments.
A specially designed set of Ultra II Noiseless Vintage pickups delivers a wide tonal range, from classic P Bass warmth to modern clarity, all without unwanted hum. The redesigned Ultra II active preamp provides exceptional tonal flexibility, featuring S-1 switching for active or passive operation, a passive tone control and a 3-band active EQ with switchable midrange frequency. Road-ready hardware includes an adjustable Hi-Mass bridge that supports both top-load and string-through-body configurations, lightweight tuning machines with tapered shafts, knurled aluminium knobs and a 1-ply anodised aluminium pickguard.
