John 5 Phantom Telecaster®
Designed for uncompromising performance, the Fender® John 5 Phantom Telecaster® reflects the style and precision of one of modern rock's most versatile guitarists. From his work with David Lee Roth, Rob Zombie and Mötley Crüe to an acclaimed career as a session musician, John 5 has long championed the Telecaster®. The Phantom Telecaster® takes that iconic platform and transforms it into a high-performance instrument built for today's hard rock and metal players.
Finished in an imposing black with a matching headcap, the Phantom Telecaster® combines unmistakable stage presence with modern playability. At its heart is a pair of high-output DiMarzio® D'Activator™ humbuckers, delivering tight, articulate low-end, aggressive mids and exceptional clarity under high gain. Whether you're playing crushing rhythm parts or fluid lead lines, these pickups provide the power and definition needed to cut through any mix.
A Floyd Rose® FRTS2000 Special Series double-locking tremolo gives players complete confidence when performing extreme dive bombs, soaring bends and expressive vibrato while maintaining outstanding tuning stability. The streamlined control layout features a single master volume and dedicated killswitch, allowing instant stutter effects and distraction-free performance with everything exactly where you need it.
The comfortable C-shaped maple neck is paired with a fast-playing 12-inch radius Indian laurel fingerboard, offering effortless playability across all 22 frets. Completing the package is a signature neck plate, adding the finishing touch to this unmistakably John 5 instrument.
Built for players who demand precision, reliability and uncompromising performance, the John 5 Phantom Telecaster® delivers modern power while staying true to its Telecaster roots.
