In collaboration with Gibson Custom, Epiphone proudly presents the 1942 Banner J-45 a beautifully crafted recreation of the iconic Workhorse model from 1942. This outstanding acoustic guitar features a thermally aged solid spruce top paired with solid mahogany back and sides, delivering warm, resonant tone with classic vintage character.
It has a V-shaped neck profile crafted from one-piece mahogany, topped with a laurel fingerboard and mother-of-pearl dot inlays, offering a comfortable and authentic playing feel. The Gibson open book headstock profile includes a subtle Inspired by Gibson Custom double diamond logo on the back and an Epiphone Inspired by Gibson banner on the front.
Ready for both the studio and stage, the 1942 Banner J-45 comes fitted with the L.R. Baggs Element Bronze VTC preamp and Bronze piezo under-saddle pickup, giving you rich, natural-sounding amplification. A hardshell case with the Inspired by Gibson Custom logo is included for reliable protection.
