Born in Corona, California, the American Performer Stratocaster® HSS delivers the classic Fender® tone and feel you know and love, enhanced with modern features like the innovative Double Tap™ humbucking bridge pickup to inspire your playing.
This versatile Strat® combines two Yosemite™ single-coil pickups with the Double Tap™ humbucker. The Double Tap™ design allows both humbucking and single-coil voices without any loss of volume, while flat-staggered pole pieces boost output and dynamic response. The Yosemite single-coils feature shellac-coated magnets, and the humbucker is wax-potted, producing rich, expressive tones with controlled feedback, perfect for any musical situation. Additional tone-shaping options include Greasebucket™ circuitry and a push-pull tone control for coil-splitting the bridge pickup.
The “Modern C”-shaped neck with a 9.5"-radius fingerboard and 22 jumbo frets provides smooth, comfortable playability and effortless bends. ClassicGear™ tuners and a vintage-inspired silver ’70s logo complete the look, delivering a guitar that’s ready for the stage, studio, or anywhere your creativity takes you.
