Designed in collaboration with Jimmy Eat World guitarist and frontman Jim Adkins, the JA-90 Telecaster Thinline is a unique take on a Fender classic, blending Telecaster style with powerful modern performance. Based on Adkins’ original Fender TC-90, this signature model introduces key refinements to create a versatile instrument suited to both stage and studio use.
A semi-hollow ash body delivers resonance and warmth while maintaining clarity and definition, paired with a maple set neck for enhanced sustain and stability. The modern “C”-shaped neck profile and 9.5" radius laurel fingerboard with medium jumbo frets provide a comfortable, fast-playing feel across all styles.
Dual Seymour Duncan SP90 soapbar pickups produce rich, articulate tones ranging from smooth cleans to aggressive overdrive. Independent volume and tone controls for each pickup allow precise tonal shaping, while the Adjusto-Matic bridge and anchored tailpiece ensure reliable tuning stability and solid intonation.
