Dreadbox Kinematic
Inspired by the Greek word "Κίνημα", meaning motion, Kinematic is all about movement, rhythm and continuous sonic flow. This versatile analogue processor combines compression, filtering and overdrive to give you a broad range of dynamic and tonal shaping options.
At its core is a fully analogue compressor with an extreme ratio and up to +18dB of level boost, making it useful for everything from subtle dynamic control to heavily compressed sounds. An envelope filter with a low-pass filter and slow envelope curve adds expressive movement, while the band boost filter provides further control over your tone.
For additional character, Kinematic features a post-diode overdrive stage that adds warmth and grit to the signal. Three patch points allow it to be integrated directly into a modular system, opening up further possibilities for experimentation and external control.
