All preset synth tones have been calibrated by BOSS engineers to be inspiring and playable immediately. Should you wish to delve deeper, you can adjust three different parameters for each sound via dedicated controls.

Versatile Connectivity

The SY-200 integrates smoothly into your setup through various configurations. Connect it in your signal chain like a conventional pedal, or utilise the send and output jacks to route synth and straight guitar sounds to different destinations. The send and return loop combined with level controls enables you to craft unique hybrid sounds by blending one or more pedals in parallel with different synth voices.

Comprehensive Real-Time Control

The SY-200 provides an extensive range of control options whilst occupying minimal pedalboard space. Two customisable footswitches offer multi-functional operation with press-and-hold functionality, allowing control over synth on/off, memory scrolling, pitch bend, synth hold, and more. Extended control is available via external footswitches or an expression pedal, with MIDI I/O also included for interfacing with other MIDI-equipped pedals and devices such as the ES-8 and ES-5 loop switchers.
