EarthQuaker Devices Aurelius
Tri-Voice Chorus
The Aurelius is not your average chorus pedal. This beautifully compact unit is packed with character and versatility, offering three distinct voice modes and six programmable presets, along with expression pedal support for on-the-fly control.
Choose between Vibrato, Chorus, and Rotary modes, and shape your sound using the Width, Rate, and Balance controls. It’s easy to blend and tweak until you find something truly unique to you. With a simple tap of the Preset (Save/Recall) switch, you can instantly jump between six of your favourite saved sounds.
Inspired by the classic 1970s CE-1 Chorus Ensemble, the Aurelius has been carefully fine-tuned to offer a rich, immersive chorus and vibrato experience with modern digital precision. Add in expression control and you’ve got hands-free access to even more depth and movement. Want to create subtle modulation or full-on seasick wobble? This pedal has you covered.
Operating Modes
The Aurelius has two operating modes, shown by the colour of the Save/Recall switch LED:
Live Mode: Adjusts the sound based on current knob positions. Changes won’t affect saved presets unless you save them.
Preset Mode: Lets you recall stored presets using the Preset switch. The knob positions are ignored while in this mode.
Presets
There are six preset slots available, where you can store your favourite settings. Each preset saves the position of the knobs, the selected voice mode, and the expression pedal assignment.
Expression Control
Plug in any TRS expression pedal to take control of Width, Rate, or Balance. Each preset can save a different expression assignment. The EXP jack also supports control voltage (CV) between 0 and 3.3 volts.
Flexi-Switch® Technology
Thanks to EarthQuaker’s Flexi-Switch® system, you can use the footswitch in two different ways:
Latching: Tap once to turn the effect on, and tap again to turn it off.
Momentary: Hold the switch down for temporary use. Let go to bypass.
Note: The relay-based true bypass system requires power to pass signal.
