The roasted quartersawn maple neck features Fender's Modern "D" profile and smooth Ultra Satin finish, ensuring exceptional playability and long-term stability. Paired with a premium rosewood fingerboard featuring a versatile 10"-14" compound radius, the bass offers a comfortable playing experience across the entire neck. Ultra rolled fingerboard edges, medium-jumbo frets, Luminlay® side dots and a Graph Tech® TUSQ® nut further enhance precision, comfort and performance. Convenient headstock truss rod access makes setup adjustments quick and easy whenever required.

ULTRA II NOISELESS™ VINTAGE JAZZ BASS® PICKUPS
The Ultra II Noiseless™ Vintage pickups are responsive and expressive, delivering definitive J Bass® growl for exceptional Fender tone without hum. Ultra II Noiseless™ pickups feature an evolved architecture of specialised stacked coils with the top coil wound around Alnico V rod magnets to produce true single-coil Fender tone, and the isolated bottom coil calibrated to preserve the tone and simply reject hum.
ULTRA II ACTIVE BASS PREAMP WITH S-1™ SWITCHING
Redesigned for unprecedented control, this 18 volt preamp features S-1™ switching for active/passive operation so you can change modes on the fly and a global passive tone control to easily shape your active and passive sounds for authentically deep vintage timbres. The precise and powerful 3-band active EQ offers shimmering musical highs, satisfyingly punchy lows and a switchable midrange frequency to seriously sculpt your sound.
