Rooted in the iconic acoustic body designs of Patrick James Eggle, the PJE Legacy Series continues to redefine professional-grade craftsmanship. For 2026, the handcrafted Faith PJE Legacy FG4 joins the range, now featuring Eggle’s highly sought-after ‘Earth’ body shape.
This elegant OM cutaway guitar combines a solid torrefied Sitka spruce top with solid African mahogany back and sides - a classic tonewood pairing that delivers a beautifully balanced blend of clarity and warmth. The top undergoes a precise torrefaction process, where the spruce is air-dried and gently heated in a low-oxygen environment to remove excess moisture before being reconditioned. This treatment enhances stability and responsiveness, resulting in a mature, resonant voice with increased projection, rich overtones, and the character of a well-played instrument.
Finished in a Satin Sunburst, the guitar showcases the natural beauty of the torrefied spruce, while flamed maple binding adds a refined contrast and subtle visual glow around the body. Premium ebony components - including the bridge, fingerboard, and pickguard - are paired with a bone nut, saddle, and bridge pins to ensure optimal tonal transfer.
For amplified performance, the FG4 is equipped with a Fishman Flex-T system, blending an undersaddle piezo pickup with an internal condenser microphone to produce a natural, dynamic sound.
Inspired by Eggle’s original ‘Linville’ model, the ‘Earth’ body shape is a true Orchestra Model. With a 15” lower bout and a body depth of 4.45”, it offers a comfortable mid-sized feel, delivering excellent balance, projection, and tonal clarity.
