For years, Joe Bonamassa has relied on vintage tweed Twin amplifiers to shape his unmistakable blues-rock tone. The Tone Master '59 Twin JB Edition recreates the character of those sought-after amplifiers without the weight, maintenance or overwhelming volume of the original. Two specially designed 12-inch Celestion® JB neodymium speakers deliver outstanding clarity, warmth and punch while significantly reducing overall weight.
Modern features make this one of the most versatile vintage-inspired amplifiers Fender has ever produced. A rear-panel power attenuator offers full output alongside five reduced-power settings, allowing the amplifier's dynamic response to be enjoyed at any volume. Convolution reverb recreates the lush ambience of classic spring reverb with remarkable realism, while an effects loop integrates seamlessly with time-based pedals.
For recording and live performance, the balanced XLR line output includes three selectable impulse response (IR) cabinet simulations, all fully customisable using the Tone Master IR Manager software. A rear-panel Vintage-Tight switch lets players fine-tune the low-end response, making the amplifier equally at home with vintage single coils or modern high-output pickups.
