C1994 Previously owned by a local church, in excellent condition and sounds so very British Ser No 262155
Here we have a lovely example of a British made piano that sounds as good as the day it was made. The previous owners have had the piano tuned regularly and it has been kept in a stable climate. It has a very traditonal 'British' sound that sets it apart from more modern Chinese pianos, this is mainly due to the fact these instruments were actually made in Milton Keynes. The voicing and preparation was also taken care of in Milton Keynes and at this time production was carried out to a far higher standard than modern day instruments. The Kemble Cambridge has a Yamaha 110cm frame and a Yamaha action and was built next to the Yamaha piano production at the now closed Kemble factory. The current new model which is now made in Yamaha's factory in Indonesia is the Cambridge 12 which retails for around £4500
The Piano has been fitted with the optional safety castors so it is very stable and can be easily moved on most types of indoor surface. The Kemble Cambridge is an ideal family piano but this instrument would also be ideal for a community hall, church or school.
