Peerless guitars represent incredible value for money. The build quality is high and their good reputation is spreading, with such guitarists as Richie Thompson, Martin Taylor and James Dean Bradfield all playing Peerless. We have been stocking Peerless guitars since 2007 and have also ordered in custom models for customers, including left-handed versions. The guitars have received high-praise reviews from Guitar Buyer, Music Maker Magazine, Jazzwise Magazine and Guitarist and Total Guitar Magazine. As a company, Peerless started in 1970. They were manufacturing guitars for such big-name companies as Gibson, Fender and St. Louis Music. Eventually they became worried about the amount of guitars they were being asked to make per month and so now make guitars with their own name on the headstock, on their own terms. Effectively this means you are getting a guitar with the features and specs of a high-end brand, without paying for the name or for an American build. Certainly the components and parts used indicate such, with certain models featuring specs such as ebony fingerboards, ebony pickguards, carved tops (as opposed to pressed), solid woods, Tune-o-matic bridges, Grover machine heads, Mother of Pearl inlays (as opposed to plastic), Bigsby tailpieces, Bare Knuckle Handwound Vintage pickups, Kent Armstrong pickups and TV Jones Powertron Humbuckers. Models are now being introduced with a centre block and we have some of these exciting new guitars on order.
